VIIcode Eye Mask Review!

Hello! I have a review for you today that is a pretty interesting eye skin care product that I'm sure a lot of you guys will like. Here we go!

About VIIcode
VIIcode is a skin care company who makes professional grade products. The name "VIIcode" is pronounced Vee Two Code. There is said to be a long history of secret ingredients that have been used on royal families by Byrne Victor and this company is inspired by that. They use natural plant extracts to create products to help your skin feel and look better.

My Thoughts

I was so excited to try these eye masks. First things first, I'll go over the basics of the product. They are sold in packs of 6 for $55. This might sound expensive at first, but keep in mind that this is comparable to a spa treatment which can be over $80 for one session. VIIcode suggests 3 boxes as a course of treatment.

This eye mask is a pretty large piece of fabric treated with special plant extracts and deep sea botanicals.  These ingredients are designed to depuff undereye bags, reduce undereye circles, and prevent wrinkles. While wrinkles aren't a problem for me yet, I believe it is never too early to start anti-aging routines.

The procedure is pretty easy. You just take out the packet, peel the clear backing, and stick it onto your undereye area. I was surprised at how well it sticks to the area even after readjusting a few times. I liked how the mask felt tingly and cool at first. It was very relaxing having the coolness since it's pretty hot where I am right now.

I noticed a big difference in the texture of my skin. I had uneven dry rough skin under my eyes, but after only the first treatment, I noticed it was smooth and nice feeling.

If you are looking for a luxury spa beauty product,  VIIcode might be a brand for you to check out!

Cafe Viva Probiotic Coffee Review!

Hello! Here's a review, I know a lot of you will like. Do you want to make your morning coffee healthier? This might be an option for you!

About Cafe Viva
Cafe Viva is a revolutionary combination of coffee and probiotics. This is actually a combination that has never been made before! Laktera Cafe Viva puts together two things that are important to me, coffee and health!

My Thoughts

I received 7 packets that retail for $19.95 (I was kind of hoping for more to try creating recipes). Basically, this is a healthier instant coffee. There is a blend of probiotics in it, which is more convenient than taking a probiotic blend in my opinion. There is four billion healthy bacteria in the blend!

If you didn't already know, these are some of the benefits of probiotics:
  • Better stomach health
  • Supports immunity
  • Boost energy
  • Boost metabolism
Those benefits are definitely something a lot of people need in there life!
Cafe Viva is the first of it's kind to combine a probiotic blend with instant coffee. By the way, this instant coffee is naturally processed by being freeze-dried with water. Some coffees are processed with chemical agents, which are questionable.

There are so many ways that Cafe Viva is different from other instant coffee and probiotic companies, I will list them.

  • Premium Robusta coffee from Brazil
  • Uses a plant-based creamer
  • Non-GMO
  • No artificial colors
  • No preservatives
  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • No artificial sweeteners
  • No fillers
Ok, now onto the taste! It does say to prepare it under about 113 degrees Fahrenheit. It might not dissolve 100% in the water, but it isn't really a problem for me (as you may see in the pictures above). One tip I have is pour the coffee little by little into the water and stir, which will help it dissolve.

To me, this tastes like some good quality coffee. I can't taste the probiotic blend, but I also can't really taste the creamer. This wasn't a problem at all and I just added my favorite flavored creamer and some stevia. Delicious!

As I mentioned before, the 7 day challenge is $19.95. The more you buy, the lower the price per packet gets. For example, 2 boxes (28 packets each) is $80. When comparing this to buying instant coffee and a probiotic blend, I think this is a less expensive alternative.

If you want to make your coffee healthier, I recommend checking out Cafe Viva!

Ocean Mist Cosmetics Collective Review! Part 2!

Hello! Remember Ocean Mist? Well, I'm back with another review of some of their products! If you'd like to read my previous review, you can read it here!

About Ocean Mist Cosmetics
Ocean Mist Cosmetics is a small makeup company that been family owned and operated for several years. They like to add a personal touch to their shipments and put my samples in some pretty plastic bag. At Ocean Mist Cosmetics, they believe that more expensive is not always better. They use the purest ingredients and keep their prices low for their customers.

They claim that their mineral makeup is good for ALL skin including oily, dry, sensitive, problematic, acne prone, and people with rosacea and scarring. In addition to this, the minerals will help with inflammation. On Ocean Mist Cosmetics’ online store, they offer a variety of foundations, concealers, veils, blushes, bronzers, correctors, eye shadows, and so much more.
My Thoughts

Prime Mineral Foundation Ivorie ($34.95) (on sale for $24.95)
This is Ocean Mist's brand new foundation formula! I was so excited to try this out. You guys know how much I love the original formula (which they are still selling), so I really wanted to know what else Ocean Mist will formula. This foundation is silkier and you can feel it smoothing on your skin.

The only problem is that this shade was waaay to dark for my skin. This is the lightest shade they offer in Prime. I passed the container onto a friend who was happy to use it and says it has worked out great for her. All of the Prime shades seem to be medium! If you have light or dark skin, give the original formula a try! They have 34 shades!

Mineral Concealer in Fair ($8.95)
This stuff really works. This matches my skin a lot better than Light, so I am really happy that I got to try it out. It works great for highlighting and contouring. I suggest this to you if you have blemish prone skin because it can hide redness better than any liquid concealer I've ever tried.

Silken Perfection Face Powder ($11.95)
This stuff might look bright white and scary, but it blends into invisible. It will mattify and make skin feel like silk. The main ingredient is rice powder, so this is similar to a lot of blotting powders on the market. I really enjoyed this!

Vanora Blush ($8.95)
If you know me, you know that I don't often wear blush. If I'm wearing blush it is usually very slight and unnoticeable, but I couldn't resist this color! The shimmering pinky color is so beautiful and really would look nice on many skin tones!

Fine Brown ($6.95)
On the site, this brown appeared to me a neutral dark brown with a slight shimmer, but in person it is a bit different. It is really more of a shimmery terracotta clay color. Of course I realize it's impossible to show what it will look like irl. It's not what I was expecting, but I still love it!

Natura ($6.95)
This is a beautiful reddish purplish brown with gold shimmer. This would look good on all eye colors in my opinion, since it is a very mixed and unique color.

Golden Sparkle ($6.95)
This eye shadow is a more orangey shimmery gold that I really like! The site describes this as jewelry for your eyelid and I have to agree.

Chimera ($6.95)
It's kind of hard to describe, but this is a slightly green toned gold. It could be descried as an antiqued gold.

Neutrella ($6.95)
Does anyone else love this name? It's a deep metallic gray that is pretty unique.

Sizzle ($6.95)
This is a great matte white with a really slight tiny shade of lavender. I love it for highlighting just under my brow!

Rosy Pearl ($6.95)
In my opinion they really should have named this Rose Gold! It's such a pretty rose gold color with gold sparkle. Out of all the shadows, this one really interested me!

I definitely reccommend Ocean Mist Cosmetics. Let me know if you check them out!

Chai Elixir Review!

Hello! I know this post will interest a lot of you... so onto the review!

About Chai Elixir

ChaiElixir is a company that produces carbonated tea. They claim to be a good alternative to commercial soda. ChaiElixir uses all natural ingredients, which might be the most refreshing thing about the company!

My Thoughts

Do you see how nice these bottles are? Glass bottles make me feel like I'm drinking something fancy, anyone else?

Vivid
Vivid is a green tea and citrus tea. I really enjoy how bubbly it is! It makes me feel like I'm drinking a fancy champagne, which is always really nice. The taste is pretty strong which I like. It is much more complex than what I imagined. It's hard to describe, but it was a very dimensional taste, that I'm sure you will enjoy.

In short, this is a really great  drink for someone who likes green tea and doesn't want an overpowering citrus.

Fusion
Fusion is oolong tea and vanilla. This is my favorite! I'll probably be ordering some of this very soon! It is a very smooth flavor and like Vivid, is very bubbly. This drink is like cream soda and a complex tea flavor, which combines to make a refreshing interesting drink.

Fusion is great for parties or turning a regular day into an occasion!

Essence
Essence is white tea lightly sweetened with white peach nectar. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one as much as the others, but I enjoyed it much more than expected. This one doesn't have a flavor as strong as the others, but it was still nice!

If you notice the ingredients, you will see that sugar comes before stevia in the list. I would prefer more stevia, but I understand that stevia is an acquired taste to a lot of people, so it is a more universal drink that way.  I'm just so happy they don't use aspartame! Also, there is no artifical dyes!

I hope you guys check out ChaiElixir because this is an amazing treat!

WOD Collective Review!

Hello everyone! This is a post I am really excited to share with you guys. Alright, here we go!

About WOD
Several years ago, an RN named Jennifer Wirth created her own muscle rub. While cross fitting, she wanted to relieve the pain and knew she could make her own solution. After she and the people around her loved her balm, she decided to share it with a larger community. Thus, WOD was born! If you didn't already know, WOD means work out of the day in the cross fit world. I believe it is used to help keep track of progress. It seems like the WOD line is always growing since there is a few all new things!

My Thoughts
There's something about the packaging that I really like. It looks really nice and put together!

 WOD Balm ($10-$25)
I got a cute little 1/3 oz jar. It's pretty small and would be great for travel. The 1 oz is $10, the 2 oz is $15, and the 4 oz is $25. It is formulated with cayenne and essential oils to help relieve pain.

I have been upping my workouts and have been having the worst soreness above my achilles tendon (soleus maybe???). I've been applying the WOD balm and it has really been helping! I love how when I use it, I only have to use a little bit, which makes it last a really long time.

I also notice it has a really pleasant smell, which is different then a lot from most stores.  It is a light minty spicy smell and not that strong almost chemical smell that most have.

Tear Repair ($6)
Tear repair is a stick of product that is supposed to heal small abrasions and dry skin or even new tattoos. It's in a convenient tube, so you can apply it to the area like chap stick. It is made with cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, olive oil, chamomile flowers, comfrey leaf, tea tree oil, lavender oil, vitamin e oil

Even if you don't have "hard working hands", you will still probably really like this stuff. I had  hanging skin next to my finger nail and this is a common occurrence for me. When I got this, I applied it and it was smoothed down and starting to heal. I also had razor burn on my legs and this actually healed it overnight. I had no more itching and burning.

Tear repair definitely exceeded my expectations.

Lip Balms

I have an addiction to lip balms. I have so many that it is not even funny. I've been holding back on buying and reviewing more because it's getting a little excessive, but I was so happy to receive these! I don't see these listed on the store yet, so I think that these are new!

The original lip balm is really nice. It has a light natural scent. The lip balm applies really smoothly and absorbs quickly.

I liked the peppermint lip balm better because it had a very nice herbal smell. It wasn't strong or annoying like some mint balms. It reminded me of mint tea, which I love to drink. I like how this one absorbs easily too, but I like reapplying often to have a little shine!

I totally recommend you check out WOD. Everything is natural, homemade, and really reasonably priced! This would be a great mother's day present!
