WOD Collective Review!

Hello everyone! This is a post I am really excited to share with you guys. Alright, here we go!

About WOD
Several years ago, an RN named Jennifer Wirth created her own muscle rub. While cross fitting, she wanted to relieve the pain and knew she could make her own solution. After she and the people around her loved her balm, she decided to share it with a larger community. Thus, WOD was born! If you didn't already know, WOD means work out of the day in the cross fit world. I believe it is used to help keep track of progress. It seems like the WOD line is always growing since there is a few all new things!

My Thoughts
There's something about the packaging that I really like. It looks really nice and put together!

 WOD Balm ($10-$25)
I got a cute little 1/3 oz jar. It's pretty small and would be great for travel. The 1 oz is $10, the 2 oz is $15, and the 4 oz is $25. It is formulated with cayenne and essential oils to help relieve pain.

I have been upping my workouts and have been having the worst soreness above my achilles tendon (soleus maybe???). I've been applying the WOD balm and it has really been helping! I love how when I use it, I only have to use a little bit, which makes it last a really long time.

I also notice it has a really pleasant smell, which is different then a lot from most stores.  It is a light minty spicy smell and not that strong almost chemical smell that most have.

Tear Repair ($6)
Tear repair is a stick of product that is supposed to heal small abrasions and dry skin or even new tattoos. It's in a convenient tube, so you can apply it to the area like chap stick. It is made with cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, olive oil, chamomile flowers, comfrey leaf, tea tree oil, lavender oil, vitamin e oil

Even if you don't have "hard working hands", you will still probably really like this stuff. I had  hanging skin next to my finger nail and this is a common occurrence for me. When I got this, I applied it and it was smoothed down and starting to heal. I also had razor burn on my legs and this actually healed it overnight. I had no more itching and burning.

Tear repair definitely exceeded my expectations.

Lip Balms

I have an addiction to lip balms. I have so many that it is not even funny. I've been holding back on buying and reviewing more because it's getting a little excessive, but I was so happy to receive these! I don't see these listed on the store yet, so I think that these are new!

The original lip balm is really nice. It has a light natural scent. The lip balm applies really smoothly and absorbs quickly.

I liked the peppermint lip balm better because it had a very nice herbal smell. It wasn't strong or annoying like some mint balms. It reminded me of mint tea, which I love to drink. I like how this one absorbs easily too, but I like reapplying often to have a little shine!

I totally recommend you check out WOD. Everything is natural, homemade, and really reasonably priced! This would be a great mother's day present!

Lindi Collective Review!

Hello everyone! Today I have a review of some products from Lindi that were graciously sent to me and a dear friend of mine who is going through a difficult time in her life. I have a lot to talk about, so let's jump right on in!

About Lindi

Lindi Skin was started by Lindy Snider, a woman who watched friends go through cancer treatments and experience unpleasant effects on their skin. There were no skin care products for people with cancer, so she made it her purpose to create them. Working with dermatologists, nurses, patients and others, Lindy Snider created products for people with the most fragile skin.

Lindi Skin products are made with the best quality ingredients to soothe and hydrate. They were originally formulated for people going through cancer treatments, but are great for anyone. These products are made to make you look and feel beautiful and healthy.

My Thoughts

I'm so excited to tell you all about these products! It was really cool to try all of these things, so read on!
Face Wash ($22)

This face wash has a very nice citrus smell that will stay on your face afterwards. It lathers up rather nicely and is perfect for sensitive skin. While it will take off skin makeup and eyeshadow, it will not take off most mascara and eyeliners, but that shows you how gentle it really is!

Eye Hydrator ($30)

I am really excited about this stuff! It is meant to moisturize around the eyes (like the name suggests), reduce puffiness, and improve skin tone. This is really unique! Most eye creams I've tried is just like a regular lotiony moisturizer, but this is like silk on your skin! It has a consistency that reminds me mostly of dry oil. Your skin will feel moisturized, but not wet or greasy. I've also noticed smoother skin around the eye! I totally recommend this for not only anti-aging, but for smoother skin now.

Lip Balm ($10)

I have already done a in-depth review of this lip balm that you can check out here. I will say that I love this lip balm! If you are on a budget, but want to try something from Lindi, this is the product!

Skin Cooler ($39.50)

The skin cooler is great for skin under going radiation. It is formulated with aloe vera which is known to have soothing and hydrating effects on skin that is not in the best state. You might also want this in the house for everyday burns or sunburns!

Soothing Balm ($25)

This is for some seriously dry skin that needs some moisture! Just like the name, it is very soothing and would be great for cracked skin.

Body Wash ($20)

This is so nice for sensitive skin. It gently cleans and seems to moisturize at the same time! It also has vitamin E in it which is so great for moisturizing skin.

And that's it! I totally recommend you guys checking them out, they have some really great stuff to offer! As usual, I'll link you below!

Laline USA Collective Review!

Hello everyone! I'm really excited to share a collective review of some amazing Laline products that I have now. If you want to read my review of Laline's lip tints, you may read them here

About Laline

I've reviewed Laline before and was really happy with the lip tints! I had high expectations with the bath products sent this time! Laline USA is a bath and body care company that was started in 1999 by two cousins who made it their mission to create quality products. Now, Laline has over 60 boutiques worldwide offering many different products that range from soap, lotion, fragrance, and other accessories. They believe that only the finest ingredients should be used and that is why they use mineral salts from the Dead Sea and essential oils from France. As I was browsing through the website, I saw a variety of things that I wanted from all different categories. From this, I can tell that many people could shop on this site and easily find something they like! I see a lot of these that are perfect for gifts.

My Thoughts

I will be reviewing the Deep Moisture Body Souffle with Aloe Vera in Ocean($29.95), Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub with nourishing oils in Coconut Verbena ($34.95), and Exfoliating Body Soap in Coconut Verbena ($16.95). By the way, what do you think of my pics? I'm pretty proud of them!

I had such an amazing experience with these products! I had a lot of fun using them and you can probably tell I had a lot of fun taking pictures of them too!

First off, the exfoliating soap! It's larger than I expected from looking at it online and is 8.2 oz. It has a really nice texture too! It is like a semi thin texture with many fine beads that will gently exfoliate. I love how it is gentle! I also like how it cleanses and also exfoliates lightly enough for every day use!

The coconut verbena scent is amazing! It also stayed on my skin throughout the day, which was a plus!

You can see all the oil up close!

Now onto the scrub! I've bought and tried many scrubs and I find that most have a creamy gel texture with sugar or salt, but this scrub was completely different than anything I've tried! It has fairly thick dead sea mineral granules with a lot of oil! The main oils are Vitamin E oil and avocado oil. This has the same delightful scent as the exfoliating soap too!

The coconut verbena scrub is a beautiful lime green! I was suspecting FD&C coloring (which has questionable effects on your body... do your research!), but was happy to see that it is colored by mica, which was relieving to read.

I usually don't like to dip my hands in jars of product (even if they were scrubbed 4 times!), so I use a small spatula type thing, which worked great! In the shower, I worked a little bit into my knees, ankles, elbows, and anywhere else that I have rough dry patches. The oiliness of it was surprising, but was just what my dry skin needs! It exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time!

After my shower, I noticed that even after drying, my skin looked healthy and shiny after using it! My dry knees and ankles are looking way better!

After that comes the body souffle in ocean! Again, this is nothing like anything I've tried! It is a very thick and rich body cream in a pretty large jar.

A little bit will go a long way for this stuff. This also helped my dry skin out a lot! I found myself smelling my arms all day because of the amazing scent! I can tell that this jar will last a long time!

This is going to be a favorite of mine for a long time.

Overall, I think that these products are great for everyone. If you're looking for some unique products to revamp your body care routine, this will probably meet and exceed your expectations. While some of these things are a bit more expensive than most, I believe that they are worth the investment and will make you look forward to the next time you will use it! I totally recommend checking them out!
