Kava Time Caramels Review!

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a great day/night/whatever! I have an exciting review today that I've been dying to write, so let's get into it! (Using a lot of exclamation points today, but I'm just so excited I guess?!!!!)
About Kava Time
The owner and creator of Kava Time first had the idea after returning from a vacation in Hawaii. She enjoyed kava and it's natural relaxing properties during her stay, despite the earthy taste. Back home in Oregon, she tried to recreate the kava root, but it turned out even muddier. She then experimented and made caramels with kava root. Eventually, the recipe was perfected and here we are today!

Govivo! Review!

Hello! Today I have an interesting supplement review for you to read!
About govivo!
Govivo! is a brand who's mission is to make people's lives happier and healthier. They offer fitness accessories and wellness supplements to help people address any concerns they might have. These wellness supplements can help you with nearly anything! The supplements can help you with metabolism, energy, performance, sleep and other things depending on which supplement you choose. They also have a worry free return guarantee if you aren't satisfied, which means they really back up their product!

My Thoughts
Boost Your Performance
This supplement is formulated with all herbal ingredients, which makes me feel safer about taking the capsule. It is made with powerful antioxidants (polyphenols) that is designed to decrease the recovery time needed for your muscles. As someone who frequently works out, I loved the idea of this!

After testing this a few times, the results were very apparent! I had a boost of energy and after my work outs, I wasn't even sore. This stuff really worked for me. I say that this would be really great to try out, since there is a great return policy if it doesn't work out for you. You can buy it on Amazon here.

Naturally Fall Asleep
I thought the idea of this supplement was very interesting. It is formulated without melatonin, which is a classic pill taken for sleeping. This is made of a proprietary blend of lemon balm and passion flower, which is all natural botanicals that will help you relax. This won't make you addicted or dependent! They also have zero binders or artificial ingredients.

When I took this, I noticed that I started to feel more relaxed and went to sleep within an hour. I also didn't feel groggy the next day, which you always have to worry about when you're trying to get some sleep for a big day. I think this could definitely help after having a stressful day! You can buy it on amazon here.

I hope to guys check out these natural supplements!

wojoCALM Review!

Hello! Today I have a review with a really unique product. It's called wojoCALM!

About wojo
wojo is a brand new line of liquid supplements that can be added to any beverage. Every variety has a different purpose to get you feeling your best. It is 100% vegetarian so you don't have to worry about gelatin or any nasty fillers. They are packaged in little vials that are similar to eye drops or nebulizer medicines. You just squeeze the vial into any drink (or food if you prefer) and that's it!

My Thoughts

Wojo offers a bunch of different products including energy, focus, calm, sun, well, and mood. I was so excited to try out the calm kind of wojo. I can definitely be on edge a lot before an event or anything, so I was hopeful that this could help! They are $6.49 for a 5 pack on their site. I'll leave some helpful information right here.
  • Dye free
  • Sugar free
  • Artificial sweetener free
Now the first thing I need to get out the way is how to "prepare" it. You probably won't want to crack open the container and drink it because the taste isn't exactly pleasant. The company suggests diluting it in 6-8 oz of any beverage, which is what I did. You don't really notice the taste at all.

I was feeling pretty nervous about something, so I figured it was the best time to test this out. I popped it open, squirt it in my drink, and drank it down in about 5 minutes. In about 15 minutes, I was starting to feel a lot better. After testing this a couple more times, it has worked every single time.

Obviously, if you have consistent anxiety, you should take a more serious course of action, but for occasional nervousness, wojo will do the trick! I totally recommend you guys trying this out!

Quest Bar Review!

Good morning everyone! Today looks like a double post day to me! Without further ado, here is a review on some great Quest bars.

About Quest
Quest is a company that's mission is to create delicious  bars with nutrition! They strive to use the best ingredients to make nutritious foods delicious too! They launched in 2010 and have been making history since!

My Thoughts

Vanilla Almond Crunch
This bar sounded really good to me! Almonds and most nuts are one of my favorite foods, so this was the best for me.

This stuff is literally just like a candy bar, but a lot healthier and maybe a little chewier. The almonds really make this bar what it is. This specific bar has 20 grams of protein and 18 grams of fiber. Delicious and nutritious! I was sad to see sucralose in the ingredients though.

Banana Nut Muffin
This bar has 20 grams of protein and 17 of fiber. That is so huge!

The banana taste is strong and I love that. I almost feel like I'm eating fudge or something, but healthier. The nuts add an interesting texture. So yummy! The only downside of this one is that there is sucralose in it, which is shocking considering how everything else in the bar is so good for you!

Coconut Cashew
This bar has 17 grams of fiber and 20 grams of protein! Coconut Cashew has an interesting texture that is a little crunchier from the rest.

It has a good strong coconut and cashew taste That is great for if you love that nutty flavor. Sweetened with stevia and no splenda! This is great since splenda tends to give me headaches.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
21 grams of protein and 17 grams of fiber! The taste is heavenly, similar to real cookie dough! This was a really filling bar and at 190 calories, this makes a good breakfast! I really can't get over how good the taste is.

Unfortunately, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough has sucralose  in it too, which I really don't want to be having. If the sucralose is taken out, I would buy so many of these!

I looked on Quest's site again and I see many options of stevia sweetened bars, so there are definitely options if you don't want artificial sweeteners!

These bars were sent to me as a sample promotion from a while back.

WOD Collective Review!

Hello everyone! This is a post I am really excited to share with you guys. Alright, here we go!

About WOD
Several years ago, an RN named Jennifer Wirth created her own muscle rub. While cross fitting, she wanted to relieve the pain and knew she could make her own solution. After she and the people around her loved her balm, she decided to share it with a larger community. Thus, WOD was born! If you didn't already know, WOD means work out of the day in the cross fit world. I believe it is used to help keep track of progress. It seems like the WOD line is always growing since there is a few all new things!

My Thoughts
There's something about the packaging that I really like. It looks really nice and put together!

 WOD Balm ($10-$25)
I got a cute little 1/3 oz jar. It's pretty small and would be great for travel. The 1 oz is $10, the 2 oz is $15, and the 4 oz is $25. It is formulated with cayenne and essential oils to help relieve pain.

I have been upping my workouts and have been having the worst soreness above my achilles tendon (soleus maybe???). I've been applying the WOD balm and it has really been helping! I love how when I use it, I only have to use a little bit, which makes it last a really long time.

I also notice it has a really pleasant smell, which is different then a lot from most stores.  It is a light minty spicy smell and not that strong almost chemical smell that most have.

Tear Repair ($6)
Tear repair is a stick of product that is supposed to heal small abrasions and dry skin or even new tattoos. It's in a convenient tube, so you can apply it to the area like chap stick. It is made with cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, olive oil, chamomile flowers, comfrey leaf, tea tree oil, lavender oil, vitamin e oil

Even if you don't have "hard working hands", you will still probably really like this stuff. I had  hanging skin next to my finger nail and this is a common occurrence for me. When I got this, I applied it and it was smoothed down and starting to heal. I also had razor burn on my legs and this actually healed it overnight. I had no more itching and burning.

Tear repair definitely exceeded my expectations.

Lip Balms

I have an addiction to lip balms. I have so many that it is not even funny. I've been holding back on buying and reviewing more because it's getting a little excessive, but I was so happy to receive these! I don't see these listed on the store yet, so I think that these are new!

The original lip balm is really nice. It has a light natural scent. The lip balm applies really smoothly and absorbs quickly.

I liked the peppermint lip balm better because it had a very nice herbal smell. It wasn't strong or annoying like some mint balms. It reminded me of mint tea, which I love to drink. I like how this one absorbs easily too, but I like reapplying often to have a little shine!

I totally recommend you check out WOD. Everything is natural, homemade, and really reasonably priced! This would be a great mother's day present!

Stevita Stevia Collective Review! Part 2!

Hello! I have a second review from Stevita! If you would like to read my previous post, you can read it here.

About Stevita

Stevita is a brand of stevia (my favorite sweetener!). They make a huge variety of stevia products including regular stevia, fruit stevia, liquid stevia extract, and chewing gum! I totally recommend checking them out if you are interested in trying alternative sweeteners!

My Thoughts

Here is the stevia stuff! This is the chocolate mix, lime powder, vanilla liquid, and chocolate liquid.

 Stevita Delight
This stuff is awesome! It is made with cocoa powder and pure stevia to make this amazing chocolate mix. I just use it to make hot chocolate, but this would be great in a smoothie or milkshake. I've had to experiment a bit with this to get it how I like it.

The first time I made it, I made a such a silly mistake. I prepared it with hot water and I put 2 tablespoons instead of 2 teaspoons and then on top of that, I put some stevia extract. Needless to say, that was way too sweet!

The next time I made it, I prepared it with 2 teaspoons and 8 oz of water. It was great!

The third time I made it, I switched it up and used 4 oz of water, 4 oz of coconut milk, and 2 teaspoons. This is the best!

Lime Flavored Drink Mix
Basically, this is stevia with lime flavor. It's awesome in iced tea because you can get sweetness without any sugar and with a refreshing flavor.

Chocolate and Vanilla Liquid Stevia
These two are so cool. They are liquid stevia that is naturally flavored with chocolate or vanilla. It is so good! It adds a great sweet flavor into your coffee/tea/whatever. It goes a long way, so you only need a bit. This bottle will probably last you months!

I totally recommend these stevia products! These have really become an essential to me and I really like them!

Benefits of Rooibos Tea! + one of my faves Numi Tea

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be sharing a little about Rooibos tea, which is one of my favorites! Enjoy :)

Rooibos tea is known by a few other names including red bush tea, bush tea, or simply red tea (I also believe there is a green bush tea, but I haven't tried it and I won't be talking about it in this post). It is a South African tea identified by the wonderful earthy and warm taste that I love! This brings us to the first benefit, which isn't really a "health" benefit.

 Taste

It is prepared similar to black tea and is usually paired with sugar, milk, and honey. It also has a "dessert" tea taste. I keep the calories low and the sugar down by using stevia!

While this isn't exactly a health benefit, I believe I should mention it is delicious! Rooibos tea is a earthy tasting tea. Some companies' tea is more vanilla-y than others. Why this is, I have no idea, but I am liking the vanilla taste to it.

Antioxidants

Rooibos tea is loaded with antioxidants. Antioxidants are widely known for their part in health and immune system boosting.

Caffeine Free

Rooibos tea is naturally caffeine free. This is great for a lot of people who avoid caffeine for health! I drink a lot of coffee, so  I can't say I avoid caffeine. I can say this is perfect for before bed or when I want to relax!

Before purchasing, check that the rooibos tea is caffeine free for sure though. Some companies will blend teas and won't make it obvious.

Calming Effects

Most people feel much calmer after drinking rooibos tea. I can speak from experience that this tea will put your mind at peace. I always have a cup of this handy while tackling a project.

 One of my Faves!

One of my favorite rooibos teas I've tried is from Numi Tea. It has a great taste and is in convenient tea bags. There are also a lot of other great teas from Numi that I have.

Some of the great things about Numi is that they are fair trade certified, offer organic tea, and use eco-friendly packaging.

You can check out their rooibos here

Alright, that's it! The point of this post: drink some rooibos tea as soon as possible! Deliciousness and health benefits await!
