Tops Malibu Wish Capsule Necklace Review!

Hello everyone! Today I'm bringing you a review on capsule necklaces. They're so exciting and so cool and if you want to know more, just keep on reading!

About Tops Malibu

Tops Malibu was started by a woman named Judy, who is a self-proclaimed “right brained person”. She was always fascinated by trinkets from around the world. Some of her favorite things from her childhood where her German metal pouring kit, Japanese surprise ball, and Russian nesting dolls.

With this passion, Judy ended up creating Tops Malibu, where she offers exciting products for any age. She now offers a variety of fun products like wish capsules, party supplies, and surprise candles.

My Thoughts

I’ve always been kind of fascinated with necklaces that you can put little things inside of! I love lockets and other things like that, but these were actually my first capsule necklaces ($9.95).

They look exactly like little metal capsules! The little pendant has a screwing top that you can see in the photo. The bottom comes off to hold your little note and that’s all there is to it!

You will get a piece of paper inside that is about the size of a fortune cookie fortune for you to write your note (or you can call them and ask them to have your message put on it before you receive it). I can think of so many ways that you can get creative with this! I gave one to my little sister and I kept one for myself, while we haven’t officially decided what to write in them, we are so excited!

The pendant is strung by a black string, which is really nice. I can see that you could easily replace it with a thin sterling silver chain, which is what I will probably do.

If you love messages in bottles, lockets, and other things like that, these necklaces are probably something you should look into! They are totally cute and the perfect thing for a creative project or party or any surprise gift!

Guided Review Part 2- Rite in the Rain Spiral Waterproof Notebooks!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week! This is a part 2 review of Guided Products Notebooks!

About Guided

Hello! I will be putting the same “About” section as last time on here! Guided is a rising American company that makes unique office supplies. At guided, they believe that “Life is too short for ordinary”, which really inspires you to enjoy the little things, even notebooks! Some of their most well-known products include notebooks, binders, folders, and much more.

My Thoughts

After my last experience with Guided Products, I was so looking forward to seeing more of their products! If you missed my first review with Guided, you can read it here. The recycled notebooks are really something you should check out!

So I will be reviewing the Rite in the Rain spiral notebooks today! As the name suggests, they are notebooks that you can write in the rain with. This idea fascinates me, especially since they say that your writing will not smear either!

First, I’ll tell you some basic info about the notebooks.  One of the notebooks is the Rite in the Rainspiral waterproof notebook ($8.45) which is 4 5/8’’ x 7’’ and is bound on the left side of the notebook.  The other notebook I’ll be talking about is the Rite in the Rain spiral waterproof notebook ($4.95) which is 4’’ x 6’’ and is bound by the top.

The notebooks have a very high quality feel to them, which is just like the recycled ones (I’m sensing a pattern!). The covers are made of Polydura, which is a strong waterproof material. These are a really pretty bright pink, they are much prettier in person than on the site!

As you can see in the picture, I wrote my url on the page and flicked water droplets at it to simulate rain drops. The water did not soak through the page! I also wiped the page with a paper towel and my ink didn't smear. In the notebook, it says to use a weather-friendly pen ink or a pencil, but I just used regular pen ink.

These notebooks are all around great! Spending a little extra on notebooks will get you great quality waterproof notebooks. I think these notebooks could make an extra special gift

These are also limited edition notebooks, so if you want one, get it soon. Also, when I looked on their site, I saw they have these notebooks in green and yellow!

So that's it guys! Today might be a double post day, I'm not sure so stay tuned for later!

Get free Stuff with Points2Shop!

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to share a little about a website that I use pretty frequently. It's called Points2Shop.

Basically, it's a site that you do different tasks to earn points and cash that you can convert into products, gift cards, and paypal money. The tasks that you can complete are surveys and other offers. I usually stick to just the surveys because sometimes the offers are lengthy and shady, so I don't recommend anything like that.

It takes awhile to start to rack up the points, but once you do you can redeem things with your points that are sold through Amazon. Most surverys are anywhere from 50 to 200 points each. 1 point is equal to $0.01.

I've bought a lot of makeup off of the site like some Maybelline lipsticks, Rimmel eye shadows, and some other stuff too!

If you're skeptical, you can sign up and do a couple surveys until you make 100 points and then you can have a dollar bill sent to your house so that you can see that the site is real!

If you are going to sign up, please use my link right here! If you sign up through my link I do get a small amount of points, which would really help me out!

Comment if you sign up through my link, I would love to hear from you guys! Talk to you guys soon!

Light Mountain Natural Cassia Review!

Hello everyone, today I’m going to be sharing my experience with Light Mountain Natural’s Neutral Conditioner!

About Light Mountain Natural

Light Mountain natural is a company that offers organic hair colors and conditioners all routing from plants. You’ve probably heard of henna and maybe have heard about Cassia which can color and condition your hair. Since the 1980’s LMN has been growing and packaging all natural hair products that are now available in most natural product stores. I’ll leave a list of the qualities of their products!

  • No chemicals or synthetic ingredients
  • Made with premium henna and other botanicals
  • No ammonia or peroxide

If you don’t know about henna and Cassia, they are plants that can color, condition, and enhance hair. They can provide safe and natural coloring!

My Thoughts

Knowing about Cassia and how to prepare it needs a lot of research. I will not be covering it all in this post, but check out my other post here to find all about Cassia!

I was excited to try cassia for the first time! Light Mountain Natural ( I've seen this brand anywhere from $4-$7) did a great job of giving informative instructions and providing gloves and a plastic cover.

The first thing you will notice about Cassia is the strong smell. It is hard to explain, but it smells like lawn clippings or something really weird like that, but I’ll get into that later. I will be mixing my Cassia with some conditioner, argan oil, Morrocan oil, and water!

During

My first step was pouring about half of the bag into my container and slowly adding about 6 oz of water.

It was a bit clumpy, so I added about 3 tbs on conditioner. It was still thick, so I added about 6 tbs of argan and morroco oil, which made it creamier and will add more of a conditioning affect.

In this picture, you can still see some clumps, but I mixed them away and added a bit more conditioner and oil.

Above is my final consistency, which was creamy, but wouldn't drip.  I know what you're thinking, ew. Also, at this point, this smelled like a peach snapple iced tea from the oils and conditioner. I let it sit (cure?) for an hour and a half while I worked out and shampooed my hair.Oh, and I only needed one box for my mid-back length hair and I thought I would need two!

I applied it to my hair and left it for about 2 hours. I hear that Cassia won't stain, but I put plastic bags down just to be safe.

Rinsing it out will be gross. I didn't used shampoo and I used conditioner to work it out of my hair. I conditioned it about 5 times and thought that it was all out of my hair, but I was wrong. Later on when my hair air-dried, it felt gritty and weighted down.

About 18 hours later, I shampooed my hair. I know you aren't supposed to for 24 hours, but I figured that it couldn't do any harm considering some people shampoo while rinsing it out.

When I was rinsing it out, I felt like I could run my fingers through my hair. It was amazing!

After

I let my hair air-dry once again. I have thick hair and it felt thicker than usual, but not frizzy, which was a strange feeling, but I liked it! After flat ironing my hair later, it felt thick and nice. I had strong silky hair. I want to try it on my friend with thinner hair, but I don't think she will like the idea of mud-like stuff in her hair.

My experience with Cassia has been a great one! I love the results I got from it! Light Mountain Natural is a great company to buy from because they give you all the instructions you need and they offer it for a cheap price! I totally recommend it!

Laline USA Lip Tints Review!

I have so much to say about these, so I'm going to jump right in!

About Laline USA

Laline USA is bath and body care company that was started in 1999 by two cousins who made it their mission to create quality products. Now, Laline has over 60 boutiques worldwide offering many different products that range from soap, lotion, fragrance, and other accessories. They believe that only the finest ingredients should be used and that is why they use mineral salts from the Dead Sea and essential oils from France. As I was browsing through the website, I saw a variety of things that I wanted from all different categories. From this, I can tell that many people could shop on this site and easily find something they like! I see a lot of these that are perfect for gifts.

My Thoughts

I will be talking about the Lip Me Lip Tint in shades Rosetta, Roseberry, and Fairy Dust ($11.95)! My first impression of all of them was how cute they are packaged! Laline branding is very distinct with the crisp, clean, simple, yet high quality look. The lip tints are packaged in small pots and are a little heavier than they look. There is 0.17 oz of actual product, so I’m thinking that the pots are made of a high grade plastic or glass.

Also, the lid snaps on easily and securely, so it is something that I can throw in my purse or travel bag and not have to worry about a potential mess. You should apply with a clean finger, cotton bug, or even a lip brush. Since it is summer, you shouldn't leave them out in the sun or heat because they probably will melt, as with all lip products. I didn’t have that problem, but I thought I should remind you!

Rosetta

The actual color of the product is slightly different in real life (which obviously happens a lot with many stores). On the site, Rosetta looks like a light peach, but in real life it is more of a rosy beige, which I still love. On the lips, the tint is not that pigmented, so it is perfect for the perfect light amount of coverage with lots of shine. I love how it made my lips glossy, but not greasy or sticky.

A lot of glosses are bad at making lips sticky, but this is a moisturizing tint.
It keeps your lips moisturized and shiny for about 4 hours if you aren’t eating anything. I applied it around noon and it lasted until dinner. The smell of Rosetta is a subtle sweet scent that I can’t quite put my finger on I am really loving Rosetta!

Roseberry

Roseberry on the website is actually really close to the color in real life, just a tad lighter. Roseberry is actually very pigmented. I was really surprised because I’ve had lipsticks that aren’t as pigmented as this. Anyway, the color is a pretty peachy coral color and I really like it.

Roseberry will last for a long time. I would estimate it stays glossy for about 4 hours, but will stain for the rest of the day, which is really nice. This smells just like fruity childhood lip balms, but not as strong of a smell.

Fairy Dust

Fairy Dust is exactly what it sounds like: sparkles. I love it! There are no high quality lip products that are made for adults that have sparkles in them that I have discovered, other than this. On the site, the picture shows a beige color, but the actual product is a sparkly pale pink. I think this one might be my favorite! I’ve never had anything like it and it is amazing!

Just like the other ones, the glossy effect stays for about 4 hours. Unlike the other ones, your lips are left with fine pieces of glitter, which is just as magical as it sounds. It also smells like a vanilla cookie. Fairy Dust is like a cute little treat and it’s really awesome.

Overall

I noticed the lip tints all had a few things in common.
1.       They were glossy and shiny for about 4 hours.
2.       They were really soft. This is kind of hard to describe, but they are very creamy and easy to work with, so don’t shove a finger or cotton bud into the pot.
3.       They aren’t that long lasting (not that I mind)
4.       They are moisturizing
5.       I hope they expand in colors because I’m going to need more.
6.       I love them!

Alright, that’s just about everything I have to say about these. If you’re looking for some awesome lip tints, totally check these out. I’ll be leaving their links below for you! Also, I wanted to mention if you want to order from Laline for the first time, use promo code "FBPost" for 25% off.
